For those of you (like me) who grew up with this schedule- then this is your verse.
God has been teaching us since we were kids. We might not have paid attention all the time- but the lessons were there- and they still are in our hearts and brains.
The key is to let those lessons continue to guide us as adults. Too often we stop having the faith of a child (Luke 18:17)- and what happens? We begin to listen to this world instead.
“Jesus loves me- this I know- for the Bible tells me so” should never be forgotten. This simple song reminds us that no matter what we are going through- Jesus is right there.
And- it reminds us that the Bible is the word of God that we trust and obey.
Please let those childhood lessons of faith continue to lead you each day.
The message never gets old.
